The grace period before MD can be used after HJ is a bit too long

When submitting a bug report, please use the below template and thoroughly fill out the necessary information.

Date & Time: since the inception of patch 6.11.

    Frequency: all the time.

    World name: Moogle.

    Character name: Aco Nale.

    Class/Level: DRG, level 90.

Party or solo: all the time.

    In-game time: all the time.

    Steps:

    1. Do your rotation normally and use High Jump, the action then changes to Mirage Dive.

    2. Mirage Dive takes one second to be able to be used, meaning that in order to double weave it right after High Jump, one needs very good ping.

    Explanation:

This post is a continuation to this one (https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...38#post5896038).

The devs chose to add a grace period before MD can be used after HJ. This has solved the accidental double weaving, but now it is quite difficult to double weave HJ + MD together. HJ has an animation lock of 0.8, and MD can't be used until 1s has passed, meaning that double weaving these two becomes difficult and very similar to the old jump + non-jump oGCD: 1.1 + 0.6 then, 1 + 0.6 now.

Thus, the intended change to reduce the animation lock of jumps becomes null with this particular double weave.

    Solution:

Reduce the grace period to 0.8, equal to the animation lock of HJ; or just revert the merge of the two abilities completely as it was in 6.08, since it's causing more issues than solutions.

If the devs want to merge buttons, they should look at Lance Charge and Dragon Sight, for example, and make the latter a personal 60s buff that is an upgrade to the former. There's plenty of ideas in posts such as this one (https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...d-button-bloat.).

It is very important to understand that the double weave of HJ + MD together is crucial in specific scenarios such as in dungeons, when one wants to get as many eyes in as little time as possible, or specific encounters that force us to do so due to downtime or boss phasing.

There's talk between the playerbase that this change to MD means that it'll be removed in the 6.2 adjustment.
However, it is crucial to take into account that MD cannot be removed the way DRG works now because it's what allows us the flexibility to decide when to enter a Life of the Dragon window.

Hopefully this'll be fixed as soon as possible to avoid having to deal with this issue.
