I've said as much before, though a visible presence from our community 'representatives' would do wonders for helping assure players that their feedback is being read and passed along. I made a thread on the subject a while back, in fact:

I think it's more of the fact that this feedback was very prevalent on Twitter. Where I presume the CMs gather most of their feedback from. In fact, FFXIV is very popular in general via Twitter. Not to mention, male viera could be used as good advertisement, and removing the gender lock is good for PR.
