Extreme lag/packet loss/disconnects mostly during popular gaming hours (8-10pm CEST)

For a while now (pretty sure for over 2 months already) the game becomes unplayable for me during evening hours. Oftentimes from 8-10pm CEST, very frequently on Sundays.
All ingame actions get delayed, macros break, in battles you see animations get stuck for 5+ seconds and people teleporting all over the place. In some cases I even get disconnected from the server.

My internet is fine, yes. Constant 18-19ms to Google servers. Final Fantasy XIV is the only service acting up.

This is clearly a routing issue and needs to be solved. Us common folks can't really do much about it so I beg SQUENIX to acknowledge the issue and take care of it. Please get in contact with the appropriate node owners.

Same ISP same issues. Raiding is often times impossible when I drop connection for up to five seconds. Please fix asap as this makes it borderline unplayable.

Does the issue only happen with specific characters or all characters or during a specific time or in a specific zone in the game?: Only one character, like clockwork every 4 am - 8 am PST, that's 7:00 pm - 11 pm in my region.

Mostly the ISP Datacenter is getting saturated with bandwidth. Either you can try VPN to route to a different network datacenter and skip the traffic.

Same issue with Deutsche Telekom as ISP. Unfortunately, Telekom is notorious for not caring about issues like this when you as a small customer complain. Using a VPN helps a bit, but it would be nice if Square could sort this out, a VPN doesn´t come for free.
