Time machine for fun and giggles

Hey all,

I thought it would be fun to go back in time and find the first forum post made on the day I started the game. To figure that out I had to:

Lodestone > Character Profile > Achievements > click >> to go to the last page.

Here's mine.

Well, there was the Lodestone-only achievements originally for 1.0 long before they were actually added in game (which you can still view on the modern Lodestone under the 'Sixth Astral Era' tab), including some long obsolete curiosities such as achievements for levelling up in physical level or the defunct 'Sentinel' class.

Unfortunately you can't view them in individual detail on the Lodestone but just as a list, but my earliest one was for attuning with the 1.0 aetheryte at Camp Bentbranch back in 2011 (now Bentbranch Meadows for you post Calamity adventurers. )

Not surprised it was about me gnorkin' it to the fact that I used to play WoW, although this post is 4 months removed from when I first started playing the game. The more you know?

I know I started in 3.1 and didn't come to the forums until 4.3, and I'm pretty sure my first post was in the old Tales from the Duty Finder thread, about a bad run against Tsukuyomi. I'm too lazy to actually do the legwork to look for it.

You would be correct.

Cross class traits could be interesting. You could try and balance it by having cross classed traits take the place of one of your own rather a simple addition like the abilities, and of course by having some sensible limits on it.

I thought this one shortly after that, like my 4th post of something, was rather amusing. BLU ideas back when we thought BLU would be a full job. 03-09-2014:

Could have monster abilities appear on a tab under the cross-class abilities menu, you can only slot them when you have the blue mage job stone equiped.

And despite how ARR it feels, I still really like bard. I just don't really play dps that much anymore.

My first post went something like this:

I spend more time spamming the login server than I do spamming Bootshine on Little ladybugs.

I think it had something to do with how unstable the servers were in August 2013.
