Fatal DirectX Error (11000002)

Hello, ever since endwalker launch ive been running into this error - once when I was in old shar attuning to an ather and then twice in the last two days during my static's raid putting me in que and rendering me unable to play with my friends. Ive done a clean install of my display drivers and pretty much done every suggestion on similar post i.e disabling full screen optimization, etc and that didn't seem to help as I crashed tonight with the same error and its very frustrating having to scour the web looking for possible fixes that ultimately make no difference. Basically ive done everything at this point suggested by other people / mods from other forum posts other then just reinstalling the game as a whole which is what im going to try tonight.. heres my PC specs if anyone could maybe give me some insight etc. Thanks.... Also this is a brand new PC not even a month old.

Welcome to the nightmare, they've had this issue on and off for 5 years and no official statement. The risk you the "support" ghosting you is pretty much guaranteed. You can try the other test that all the other players who have this issue have tested but the likelihood of anything working is pretty much zero :/. Their DX11 is broken in this game, if you get crashes there's no real solution to the problem only short term patchwork that can increase the time before it happens.

i see you have MSI Afterburner 4.6.4 Beta 3 installed. is ytour GPU overclocked at all? if so than that is your issue. the game becomes unstable if your GPU is overclocked and removing the overclock for FFXIV will fix the issue. i have had to remove my overclock and i have not had any issues since.

Yeah I did download it to see if would make a difference a while back when I had this problem in PotD the first week I got my pc... My card is not overclocked though and is at the stock value of 2433 which is shown here: https://imgur.com/a/PPu5rMT
I appreciate the suggestion though! not sure if maybe under clocking it below stock would do anything but possibly.

i would say if underclocking it somehow fixed it, thats a sign that your card is possibly defective, i've had that issue before and unfortunately had to get it sent back and replaced.

if you have access to 3dmark, you could try to run a stress test and see if your card performs ok as well, that could tell you if your card is running ok or not. than you would at least know if its just simply a weird issue with the game running under your specific configuration.

Hello, the issue seems to be occurring totally randomly specifically in Endwalker zones. Originally it happened on launch day of endwalker in old shar when attuning to an atherite, on Saturday it occurred during extreme Zodiark and lastnight it happened while standing on a cliff in Thavnair waiting for party finder to find our last member to que up so its not one specific place its happening nor is it constant rather totally random. I can go all day 1pm - 8pm no problems but as soon as I start doing content with my group the error seems to strike and its quite annoying considering the ques and all, not to mention the PC being brand new. I had similar problems on my old PC but was a plethora of different errors that plagued me there, its almost like a curse thats always in the back of your mind when playing since its totally random and can happen at any given moment. As for my windows everything is up to date as of now there was one update lastnight and tonight that I just installed that most likely had no effect but they're installed. As for running the game with a clean boot I have done that but honestly having things like steam / discord open are standard on every PC and should not be causing this issue, I don't use steam overlay or discord overlay and my game is ran through steam. Once the servers are up tomorrow I will attempt a clean boot but please understand that things like discord are necessary to communicate with people I play with and should not be considered for this kind of error, out of all the posts ive seen about this error I have not once seen someone mention discord as an app running causing the crash... overlays yes but not the app its self. Anyways thanks for responding quickly I look forward to your response.

Okay, as of the new patch this morning I can't even log into the game now. At first it was giving me a 100000000 DX 11 error everytime I launched the game so I uninstalled and fresh installed my drivers... now im getting the old errors I use to get on my old pc and im legit at wits end https://imgur.com/a/OvEKZsV this is the error that pops up now and I am unable to even launch the game.... seriously ?

Update: Reinstalled the game / drivers and was able to log in, will see if the 110000002 error still persists tonight when im raiding... hopefully it was something to do with a corrupt file and this fixed everything but we'll see.

Fatal DirectX error 110000002 again today while waiting at the Aetheryte in Thavnair afk, second time its happened in this zone at two different locations on the map. No programs running other then Chrome / Discord, was using windows mode.
