Good morning to all,
it is really no longer possible that this error has been present since the beginning of Stormblood and has still not been fixed to this day. I am not the only one affected by these mistakes. When will it finally be fixed with a patch so that you are not affected by these bugs? Even after the error i have the problem that i fall back in a 2000 queue! That can't be serious Square Enix. Stop ignoring this problem and fix it already!
Here are my specs:
MSI B450 AC | Ryzen 7 3700X | 32GB RipJaws V 3200 | Sapphire RX 6900 XT Nitro+ | BeQuiet 11 850W Platinum | 840 Evo 120GB + 960GB MP510 | Win10-64bit | Acer XV340CKP + XV272UP | Fractial Design Define R5

This is the most common technical issue since Stormblood, and still STILL can't get an official response to this.
Updating original comment as well: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...=1#post5769420
I decided to run Furmark and TestMem5 with anta777 cfg for 7 cycles AT THE SAME TIME. The purpose of this test was to induce heat in the GPU which would in turn heat up the RAM. By doing so I was trying to create a condition where the PC is working so hard that an error, somewhere, occurs by heat. Specifically in RAM. These conditions should go beyond what FF14 should ever do to ones' PC.
By the end of the test:
RAM Set to default XMP (3200 MHz)
No overclock GPU (Set factory OC)
No overclock CPU
Run time: 9.5 hours
GPU Temp Max: 94C
GPU Utilization Max: 98%
RAM Temp Max: 65.3C (Across all 4 slots)
CPU Temp Max: 65C~
Chipset: 73.3C
Data was gathered using HWiNFO64 since it records way more than AIDA64. Not a single crash or error reported. This system is rock solid which I should expect out of a 6900XT/5950x/x570 build. I will continue to run more tests that I mentioned in my original post to see if I land something. This rules out RAM/GPU/CPU hardware errors. I'm starting to agree with the other poster that the DX11 11000002 is some sort of catch all bucket error. It would be nice if there was a stack trace included or at least some debug info when a crash occurs.

Just wanted to add that I'm also getting this error since endwalker released. The first week or so was fine without any errors and then I started getting the error whenever I would exit the game. The screen would go black as it does before the application actually closes and then the directX error would pop up. That happened for about a week or so and today is the first day that I got the error randomly while in the middle of a dungeon. There's nothing wrong with my computer, it's not an overclocking thing, the problem is almost definitely with the endwalker 'version' of the game. Personally, I've not had a single error like this with the game in all the years that I've been playing it so I'm not sure about those saying this has been an issue since stormblood. The only thing I have not tried yet is updating to Win 10 21H2 as I am still on 21H1. I could see that maybe helping but again, I strongly feel that this is an issue with the endwalker version of the game as many others are now experiencing the same issue since release. Hopefully they get eyes on this and at least acknowledge it as a problem.
Does anyone know if there is a log file for the game that is recording these errors? I'm wondering if there's something leading up to it in the log that could be useful
edit: also wanted to add that I'm using the immerse 3d audio plugin

Still hoping for a reply. I got DX11'd twice tonight, and even switching to DX9 mode, the game still finds other ways to crash and burn. The last "fix" I tried was moving it off my SSD and doing a full, clean reinstall to my C: drive.
Surprise surprise, nothing is fixed.
I'll make one other post because I don't know what the precise issue is, if anything. I was in Radz and the game got so overloaded thanks to the number of players being rendered (I assume) that it slowed way, way down. Like, stood frozen for several seconds at a time. And in Sharlayan when I went to buy my 89 SMN gear, it locked up so bad that it caused a DX11 crash. I'm wondering if there's a root cause behind that specific issue besides poor DX11 optimization.
Also still having this issue, happened twice in Thavanir and once in Zodi extreme... game was running perfect before endwalker with no problems... its not constant crashing but its seriously the worst always having the possibility of crashing wherever you are at any given moment.

I also have the same issue with DX11, random crashes that seem seem more common mid fight possibly when loading lots of different effects (no frame rate issues and GPU is running cool).
No problems with other games and haven't found any issues when running various tests (Memtest, Furmark, OCCT stuff)
If I use DXVK (DirectX to Vulcan converter) the crashes seem to go away but this technically breaks the EULA so not without risks.
My system: Ryzen 3700k, Radeon 5700XT, Asus X570 motherboard.

How risky are we talking about?, how long have you been using it?.
Seems like a fair fix IMO. At least while they fix the errors.
I just want to play man..
