No, it does not modify the game files. DXVK is an API wrapper. It translates Direct3D API calls to Vulkan API calls.

This has been an irritating issue, all the solutions across the net I have tried, ranging from:
Placing the game files from HDD to SSD
Reinstalling the game
Driver Updates
Clean Windows install
Editing Registry values (from the Japanese side of the forums)
Underclocking GPU
Enable Debug mode on Nvidia control panel


and none of them seem to stick. anyone else has any idea how to actually fix it for good? Here's my current system (which I just freshly formatted just to see if it actually works or not.)

Hello, it seems that your BIOS is older. Here are the newest BIOSses:

Please install the newest BIOS. It is important on AMD platforms.

Yeah, I just did that and it also reflects on the BIOS. Not sure what parameter said it was older.

In your FFXIV information there is one entry:

SYSTEM_BIOS A.80

A.80 is older, A.85 is the newest BIOS.
