Game is unplayable - DX11 Issues

Let me start by saying I am GENERALLY a fan of SquEnix; however, the fact that the development team is still having Direct X11 issues is simply unacceptable at this point. Other programs are using DX12; meanwhile we're still having issues on the previous iteration? You need to realize and account for the fact that superclocked/overclocked graphics cards ARE a thing, have been a thing, and will remain a thing from here on out.

That being said, my issues are as follows.
1) Enter login information, press play, game goes black and then crashes.
2) Enter login information, press play, game crashes with several DX11 errors.
3) Enter login information, press play, log into the game, get in queue, game lobby has experienced an error.
4) Enter login information, press play, manage to actually log into the game:
a) Horrible tapping noise from sound that is already muted.
b) Unmute sound to see what's going on and get horrible digital noises.
c) Game is stuttering like crazy. (i.e. Minimap not working, npcs are flying, can't turn
in quests, etc.)

Also having this problem. Re-installed the client after trying many other things, and still having the same error. I turned off DX11, and was able to get in the queue. No idea what the game will look like with DX11 off though, or if I can even do anything.

I have re-installed the client once and have repaired the client as well. Updated my entire system and the issues persist.

Does anyone having this issue use an Arctis 7 Steelseries headset? If so I’m trying this fix out. Apparently it’s working for a lot of us.

There is no fix for this as of now, the only way to play for us having this problem is to switch to DX9. Although you can switch and be able to finally get in the Queue is gonna be in the way, weather your Queue is around 2k or 8k it doesn't matter you'll get and Error anyway and kick you out of the game without queue protection, i've been on queue for like 3 hrs started at 9k and got and error around 5k saying "Yo you paid for the DLC but nope we didn't planned ahead of this and we didn't add server capacity before release we also delayed it so that we have time to prepare for the waves of complaints, but guess what we are also so busy and we can't even respond to tickets " also you can't really talkshit about it. but honestly i've been trying since the server went up yesterday and to this very moment i'm typing this im on queue trying to play the game i paid for but i can't..... this is a mess let's all agree that it deserves a negative review on steam until it's fix.

I was having the same issues, and weirdly narrowed it down to my wireless USB headset. After I went and found some old 3.5mm earbuds, everything works like a charm. I’m going to go buy a male/male 3.5mm cable today to see if properly wiring the original wireless headset instead of just relying on USB sound fixes it.

I have the same issue with wireless headphones ( Sony HW-1000XM3 - headset hands-free AG audio profile, this is profile is to use the mic on voice chat) crashing the game with Directx 11. The issues does not happen with Directx9 and did not happen with
Shadowbringers(DX11).
