    "Okay so I see many players had this problem including me, the launcher doesn't update it so it keeps restarting. I fixed this by manually updating the launcher all you have to do is go to Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\ open up FFXIV_BOOT.cfg and open it in notepad you will find BootVersionCheckMode 0, change it to 1 and save, then start the launcher and it should work."


    Which, made the error stop showing up for me, but the audio is still SUPER corrupt and it ended up crashing after a few moments. No swap of sound output did anything.



    Edit: Nevermind, the error is back like nothing changed again.
