You pretty much said there is no help for it, they shouldn't be allowed to coexist with children period, and that means restricting their lives. It's pure selfishness to think about themselves in this situation rather than the people whose life they could put in danger, and utterly ruin.

The attraction isn't really the issue, though. I'm attracted to women, but that doesn't mean I can't control myself around them. Most people are the same way regardless of what they're attracted to.

People who would hurt children or animals have a different issue that goes beyond what they're attracted to. People who are unstable and violent with no impulse control should be locked away, but it's not fair to assume everyone is like that.

No help in the sense that we can change who or what they find themselves attracted to but we can help them from acting on their impulses.

As you said key word is could, it is not a guarantee. The stimga makes it hard for people to seek help which in turn increase the potential for harm to be done.

Asmongold recently did a interview with someone on nsfw mods and lewd gposing.
If I remember right yoshi said this can be serious trouble for FFXIV because someone could look at a post of a lewd image of a lalafell or the twins/ ryne and learn its from FFXIV and this is what the game could show.

You think after this interview SE is gonna double down on bans? Seeing as asmon is one of the biggest MMO streamers its not hard to think a SE employee or two was watching.

You can technically say ‘we can’t allow this’ - yet it likely still exists in over abundance on social media; and the people who create it don’t care whether you approve or not - nor do their followers. In order to effectively stop it you need to strip out the adult NSFW as well by getting rid of the ability to access the tools in the first place. Basically a scorched earth policy.
