"I'm Here to Kill Chaos"

I know Triple Triad has been around for quite awhile now and every complaint possible has probably been logged since, but that was then and this is now. So with that said, can we please, please, please get rid of the Chaos rule? That is the most broken, unfair restriction I've ever had the displeasure of playing under. You're literally allowing your opponent, i.e. the computer, to choose the cards you play.

I can tolerate the occasional Same/Plus combo bumpull wins from the computer because I can also occasionally use those to my advantage, but there is no way to use Chaos to your advantage.

I don't think that's too bad. Annoying perhaps, but with a decent deck I can still come out on top more often than not. The Roulette rule though is bonkers. You can throw that one out the window.

The number of times I've had a perfect set up to take multiple cards only to be denied by "oh, you can only play this much weaker card" is insane. I have a fairly decent deck, not perfect, but it's been getting me through most everything except Reverse, which it handles kinda "eh" so I build a deck specifically for that rule. Everything else except Chaos I can generally hold my own against. It's only by sheer fluke for me to win a Chaos match.

Cheating NPCs are the worst ever.

They can hold so many 4- and 5-star cards for no reason. Isobe can use 2x 5-star and 2x 4-star cards every time! Good luck when playing with such an npc who will swap your only 5-star with his only 3-star card >: (

Reverse is the number one reason I dislike the roulette rule because it flips the simplest rule in the game on its head, of which this simple rule trickles out into others (such as the limitation on higher star cards). If you aren't expecting to see it, you're planning your deck around what rule you know are there and a simple "oops, you got reverse" almost always results in wasted time and a loss. Reverse by itself is not an issue. It cropping up randomly in roulette against an opponent where a reverse deck by default has no hope to succeed does.

Onto the issue of Chaos, I dislike it just as much as I dislike Order because it limits your agency in the card game where it feels as though your opponent doesn't have such a handicap (which thanks to NPC decks, they have some advantages inherently) but it is something you can encounter and still come out on top with.

Agreed. I think that Triple Triad should be reworked so that there is always a fair chance to win. It's actually impossible to win some matches, if only because an opponent can sometimes start with a selection of strong cards, steal your strongest card and then RNG dictates the order that your cards are played to the degree that a loss is inevitable.

It wouldn't bother me nearly as much if the drop rate on certain cards wasn't so frustratingly low.
