Autolocking Threads that have not had a response in over a year

IMO it would be really useful to stop the necromancy of threads for SE to have a script lock any thread that has not had a post in over a year.

Yes, so instead to keep threads from being locked users will necro threads annually or biannually. Then again, that's done anyway. I don't think this would really solve anything.

It’s a good idea. There should be a limit and 1 years seems fair enough.

You'd have to be pretty desperate for attention if you're willing to necro your threads on an incredibly regular basis.

If it's done nightly, once you get through the initial chunk of locks, it wouldn't be that much of an issue TBH.
