Thread: Housing and you ( Oh yes a other one of these )

Hi guys,

So i been wondering for years why housing is so bad in this game.
When looking online, here or elsewhere you see alot of frustration.

People do unhealthy and sometimes dangerous things, just so they can camp for hours and hours only to lose out to somebody using something they shouldnt.

Or by somebody who just walks up is really lucky and claims the prize (You know who you are, and power to you!...even though i hate your guts :P)

So i asked our friends at Square Enix about it, they told me i should post about my issues with housing so they can look into it. Cuz apperently this is new to them!

So here is yet a other (frustrated) post yet again about the wonders of housing.

No.

No this isn't.

I'm not sure who you'd of spoken with to say that Housing issues are a new thing but I can assure you that you did not do any amount of proper searching about housing on these forums (or even Reddit if I remember correctly there was a whole housing post thing there some time ago)

I've actually spoken to Koji, to his face back at PAX 2017 prior to him going on stage and he was painfully aware of the housing situation and around that time two players took over an entire housing ward in their server with a ton of their alts. The devs had to incorporate a restriction on accounts going forward so the only way one person could own multiple houses on the same server is if they created a whole new subscription and went about it that way.

So... I'm advising you, do your homework better. You're going to get torched for this full orange bag of dead horse you're beating.

If you look at the url of this forum, you will see that it is the same url...
https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/

https is never displayed, but it is displayed with a closed padlock, which means the same thing.
https stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure, without the S you may have doubts

Thank you for all the replies.
Just to be clear, i am very aware of the many post that have been made thus far (mega ones included )

I been chatting with support about this, they suggested to make a (new)post, so i did.
Ill be sending them this link (and the mega one), wonder what they will say next!

I doubt anything will happen seeing this issue has been going on for years, but atleast some of you should know the frustration of it.
