Just some ideas for new House styles, and other Housing improvements in general...

I freaking LOVE the Housing system in FFXIV!!! Okay, I personally wish we could make some improvements to the act of *acquiring* them (personally, I think it should be possible to sell or trade the "Deed" to your house, just like a regular item), but in terms of customization, I still find myself regularly surprised with what players can come up with!

Over the past year or two, I've noticed a LOT of new types of buildings, which is even more exciting! But since my friends were finally able to acquire houses of their own lately, we've all been on a bit of a deep-dive in terms of decorating, and I've had some ideas crop up!

In no particular order, here are some Housing STYLES I would like to propose:

- An over-the-top style House, courtesy of the Golden Saucer! Have it really well lit-up, maybe even spotlights or something like that. Just go super tacky with it! It could be fun.

- Much like the "Forge" style buildings to a lot of shake-up the overall shape of your house, maybe one style of "building" is literally a "magic door" or gateway that seemingly isn't connected to anything, but still leads to your house? The surrounding area might instead be covered with magical runes or something.

- A "Crystal Tower" inspired place might be cool.

- I could really only see it working for a Small, but a "tree-house" design might be kind of cool.

- Particularly with the advent if Ishgard's housing area, I'd also like maybe more of a "fortress" than typical house.

- I'll probably do a terribly job describing this, but perhaps some kind of "house" made of stone, with ivy growing up the sides, and big stained-glass windows on the outside?

Alright, that's about all I've been able to think up for the BUILDING styles. Now some other ideas I'd love!

Again, in no particular order:

- Perhaps it would be possible to have your Retainers randomly walk around the housing areas? That could honestly liven things up quite a lot!

- I would LOVE to have some way of customizing your "Floorplan" or "Layout". Perhaps you could offer different options (ie. instead of every Small you enter with stairs to the right that lead to the basement, you could instead enter from the "bottom floor" and have an upstairs?). I would LOVE to be able to "LEGO things together", maybe having different styles of room:

Take a LARGE House, for example. Maybe you could replace the downstairs with a large ROUND room, and instead of going downstairs to access, you have a small doorway on the left you walk through. And maybe instead of the split-staircase with the opening in the center, you simply have the stairs lead up slightly to a large doorway, and another large "room" to decorate?

- Being able to teleport to your house should NOT require a Mini Aetheryte, imo. With house items being limited as they are, every single item we can spare is precious. Perhaps we can pay to replace the normal Placard with the Aetheryte? Even better, perhaps that could be upgraded again to also function as a mailbox?

- I understand data is kind of limited. That said, I would LOVE the ability to expand the number of items you can place in a yard!

- Also, it would be kind of nice if you could move where EXACTLY your hour sits in your plot, or even just rotate it. So maybe you could bump it towards the front of your property and instead have a BACK yard!

Anyways, that's all I can think of right now!

Another 200 slots for my mansion for a start. It's capped on items and still feels totally empty.
Would love the option to change the interior layout as well, personally I think medium's are far superior in their layout. Why is the upstairs of my mansion split into two narrows rooms? I want one big flat area up there to change into however many rooms I want!!
For the love of all that is holy let me remove all these pillars, its a fantasy game gdamnit. Let the house stay up without an enormous pillar every 2 ft!
Let us change more of the structure of the house, I want to be able to go out onto my balcony without making a jump puzzle.
Honestly if they invested more into their housing they could steal every animal crossing lover out there and bring them here if they added player designs into the game more often etc
Housing designs for every job theme, expansion etc etc. There is a million things they could do. All of which I doubt will ever happen soo... gimme my bloody 200 extra slots!

At this rate, my biggest 2 wishes for housing are:

1) A vertical axis for furnishing. We already glitch the heck out of it and the Devs acknowledge it as valid... Giving a V-axis would just make it less miserable.

2) An option for the interior of the house to be just a blank dyeable box, instead of having the columns or ugly ceiling.

Can we log out in our house like we can in the inn yet? Also, I want bigger apartments. I think apartments are just as good as houses, but they just aren't big enough if you want to make multiple rooms. They don't need to increase the item limit too much, just increase the floor space.
