Friend of mine stayed up for like over a day clicking on a post during the weekend hoping to get a house but ultimately was beaten by a person who had a busy signal and was clicking non stop. They stayed clicking on the post well after they got the house. Sound familiar?

My proposal is a lottery system for housing, to be drawn after a pre determined amount of time. I imagine relocating to a different plot would be under the same lottery system, isn't it just crappy when you've been clicking on that post and some one decides after 10 hours of you being there, hey yeah I want that house. It has a nice view and all your time has just been wasted. Sucks to be you.

Tell your friend to keep going. It's painful, hard, and unhealthy, but like a savage, all your gear doesn't drop the first run.

Know that the prime time is around 14 hours after the plot is vacated, so hold off wasting time until hour 12 or so.
Grab anything, even the worst goblet, as a stepping stone to level up
