Crash out to desktop with no error many times

[Argou]

The game crash out to desktop for about 1-2 times in a day
but sometime crash after logged in 5 sec repeatly
I play on steam.
and I did ALL in this post:

And please stop telling me that check my setting/graphic/PC stat
My cpu/gpu/RAM are under 50% while play FFXIV with a contant 60 fps up
And I have do all checking I know.

The main problem is that it ONLY happen on FFXIV but other game didn't.
So please check the problem of the game client but not just ask player checking their PC and reinstall their driver

Holy Moses, that's a lot. Idk about all that, but i can tell you I had a similar issue on my previous computer (but i was playing WoW at the time) and it turned out to be an early symptom of my motherboard dying. Hope it's not that (because it sucks) but it might be worth looking into. Motherboards can be replaced in desktops, at least.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:

1) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs.
2) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
3) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
4) Install Windows and FINAL FANTASY XIV onto the same drive
5) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything

Given the sheer number of people experiencing this, I doubt it's peoples' mobos dying.

The last patch introduced a nasty bug. I've been playing for years, and I've never seen these crashes, and this PC I'm on now is like 2 or so years old, in the prime of its life, not a thing wrong with it, no other apps giving me trouble whatsoever except for the occasional Bethesderp in FO4 (a game that is rather famous for being unstable). I mean that literally -- zero crashes in anything, at all.
