Man, you must not work in code then if you've never had something break accidentally. Everyone's heard the saying: 99 errors in the code to fix, fix an error, 128 errors in the code to fix.
Saw someone quote you and had a feeling you were talking to me. Cute.
Lets put this in simple terms ...
Patch comes out. In the notes they say they adjusted the appearance of gear from this raid to fix issues. Some things are a success, we no longer look like they have bits of white girl skin glued on our 2B dresses (Something people argued was the intended look fyi). They also apparently fixed how the raid gear legs work with some short boots. But we are seeing issues arise from changes this patch. 2B legs defaulting to the new alt model when paired with like 99% of tops that it never clipped with is under this umbrella of "things that look bad after the patch" same as seeing through your DRG's thighs.
Don't care- back you go lolI posted the word "lazy" because I knew exactly what kind of response I would get-
Gas-lighting is abusive behavior, and a violation of forum TOS.
If it weren't intended as a feature, it would never have been there in the first place, and now a good half of the playerbase have their glamours ruined.
I'm well aware, and when that happens, a proper code review and comprehensive regression testing catches it, and it's then sent back in rejection with a message to 'do better', not sent live to immiserate and alienate the userbase.
It's clear Square needs to overhaul their QA when it comes to visuals and computer modeling when "fixes" destroy the key visual feature of the game's most popular leggings, while a patch to "fix" copied factory gear allows THIS BUG to persist on and on.

Are you actually threatening me now with a report? Go ahead and report me, because that is not "gas lighting". The post you replied to was in direct reply to a post talking about raid bottoms.
It is a "fix" the butt is flattened ONLY on long tops to prevent clipping, presumably. The raid pants are having issues with long boots. I doubt it has anything to do with the "butt fix" on the 2B leggings. They are not even the same pants.
I think the current raid pants issue is more likely a side effect of them fixing the problem with certain short shoes being paired with the raid pants. Shoes like the elezen shoes were causing a problem similar to what the long boots are doing now. Here's what they looked before 5.15: https://i.imgur.com/l7dF7Fo.png
5.15 fix these: https://i.imgur.com/ASFLF7I.png
It is NOT a feature. I feature would be a butt slider. This is one pair of bottoms, that you can't even see unless you look upskirt on the set it was meant for.
Ridiculous.

The 'clipiping' was happening with gear items few enough in number to count in my fingers.
The 'fix' is a 'break' for the other 99.999% of gear combinations that had NO clipping.
This is called a 'regression' in the software industry, and this regression has destroyed the primary visual purpose of the 2b bottoms.
Yes, it is, or it would not have been there in the first place.
Coming to a thread where the majority want this regression fixed and claiming "the butt was never intended" is gaslighting.
Butt still works perfectly fine on the items it works on, just now it can only be viewed in it's fullness with in the tiny TINY pool of tops that allow the ruffle skirt to be viewed for absolutely no reason.
And on top of that, the ranged bottoms looks exactly like the 2B butt (just a tiny bit less stuck out) and were not touched at all.
Put your tinfoil away, humans are human and sometimes make mistakes.

I don't understand what you are trying to do here. You know how many times I get falsely reported on these forums? It is your opinion that it isn't a fix, it is my opinion it is a fix. Get over it. It is my opinion it is not a feature, it is your opinion it is. It is now "gas lighting" for having differing opinions than that of the supposed majority I guess. The 'clipiping' was happening with gear items few enough in number to count in my fingers.

I do not take kindly to threats, and I will not respond as I used to. The 2b butt is not that big of a deal, okay. OKAY? It is only flattened on long tops, and why would it only be flattened on long tops? To prevent clipping! It is a "fix" you might not classify it as such, IN YOUR OPINION, but it is.
Threatening me over a differing opinion, or an exclamation point.

The amount of "they did this deliberately! They wrecked the one thing we care about because they hate us!" is probably why they don't value feedback from the English forums.
They fixed a previous problem. The fix has introduced new problems.
Can't we just tell them "this new thing broke, can you fix it" and see what they do about it before fetching the pitchforks?
There's certainly no way the glitched legs are going to be left looking like that. I would expect it to be fixed in the next patch, hopefully with a bit more testing than it seems to have had the first time - but if it develops new and different glitches again, just post a bug report. They've worked out how to provide a thing we asked for (actual skin-toned stockings) which may be crashing into one of their other systems.
And for those accusing SE of putting time and effort into "ruining" the 2B pants for you? I suspect it's the opposite: they took what they thought was a shortcut by simply making it turn off existing parts of the model when worn under longer gear. Most likely the fault - as with the Quaintrelle's skirt - is how they define longer gear. Nobody decided it should display like that with specific equipment; it's a decision made possibly years ago that waist decorations won't be visible under that chest gear.
Also, it's possible that the person adjusting the model has different priorities to you. Say they were handed the instructions "stop this from clipping through the wedding dress, and make the stockings transparent" (both issues formally filed as bug reports on the forums). They did that job as instructed, they fixed the known bug, and they certainly didn't do it to spite you all.
If they actually wanted to ruin it, they would have done it to the base model, not just what it does when combined with gear.

Are you asking people to think logically and be make sane comments ? This is just too much. I want what I want and I want it now.The amount of "they did this deliberately!
