No I have no issue with the in combat aetherflow. It's no different then dotting a mob while the tanks pulling to make sure your Excog gives you fae guage. You where already tagging yourself in combat asap for one resource so doing it for another is far from an issue.

You’re giving the casual healer way more credit than they deserve. It’s pretty par for the course for these sorts to avoid dotting on the pull. You and I know this, but going by my FC and team last night, there’s a lot that don’t and it’s causing Bardams style first pull wipes that an AST or WHM can easily avert.

SCH in its current state is mostly boring.

I'm not having any trouble healing dungeons - in fact, a DRK wall-to-wall pulling in the level 73 dungeon is the most fun I've had doing dungeons this expansion. I was sneaking in DPS where I could and using my aetherflow and fairy actions as much as possible keeping this tank up. It still wasn't that hard to do.

Otherwise... I'm sat there doing nothing with my aetherflow. I throw Chain Strat on something and then spam Art of War over and over until I'm out of mana, even with Lucid.

And this is only going to get worse as we outgear the content.

Yes, it might be great in savage, I don't know that. But leveling content is just as important to have fun in, and this is not fun.

I mean, if actually enjoying the game with the current updates make me a white knight then hopefully my armor is a white as freshly fallen snow.

But by all means. I can do this all day. SCH plays fine now, and if anything I'm hoping it doesn't get massively buffed like in shb to where it was as stupidly broken.

As a SCH main, I disagree that it's trash. It needs an AF dump that isn't a heal though at least but it's by no means trash. Been playing it for like at least 20 hours since launch and it's pretty good tbh.

Doesn’t change the fact that you are completely blinded by your agenda.

A casual SCH is in a big disadvantage at the start of a dungeon compared to an AST or WHM who can both blow a ton of oGCDs right off the bat with little care or thought. They do not have to worry about putting themselves in combat to ensure they have access to oGCDs for the stwrt of a pull. Heck there are healers that struggle to keep up with a sprinting tank irrespective of any other issues that might crop up. This quirk specific to SCH is only going to compound things further for these people.

I openly invite you to go have a look through the old healer DPS threads to see a wider view on this. There are a lot of players even here that are of the mind that doing anything mid pull is a massive no no and that thread is a good testament to those views.

Lastly, get off your high horse. Thanks. I’m not sat here whinging and crying that the game is dead and buried. I’m trying to put across a valid balance issue here. Even when it was undeniably OP. SCH was still arguable underplayed outside of Savage. Issues like this are only going to cause that trend to continue.

Honestly hope they don't buff it. Everyone complaining can just leave the class. Give us an aetherflow dump and a bit of a buff to cost of spells. Sch's is a little high at the moment.
