Why was my thread CLOSED? It wasn't RESOLVED. I had waited a full 24hrs, with absolutely NO response the entire time, and then get my thread closed after technical support replies ONCE? Seriously? What kind of screwed up technical support is this garbage?
85+ views and not ONE person replied before they decided to reply and close my thread almost immediately. Thanks guys. GREAT service.
Yes, I HAVE already tried both Direct X 9 and DX 11 on the launch app. But the screen continues to turn black, and then a couple seconds later automatically crashes with the error message mentioned in my last thread. I would have noted it and replied, but someone decided they needed to close my thread, rather than waiting on a reply. Every other thread seems to allow wait time, but mine was immediately closed? I'm sorry? What the actual Kitsune??
I have also explained that the current issues and resolves were already listed ahead of time with what I had already done, so yes, the ONLY update that was made or changed on my PC was security essentials, which did NOT require a reboot, but I had already restarted it well before this issue arose. I'll re-update my thread again since somebody thought it was a good idea to consider closing it before they assisted me. Quite rude and disrespectful from technical support when still asking for assistance. This is already pissing me off. I've been working in technical support for the last 3 years with your game on PC, and your lack of support is atrocious. I expect much better of Square-enix, let alone your customer support.
Action:
Launching the FFXIV app
Block:
Pop up crash messages during launch. Screen turns black, followed by usually saying "Square-enix" before showing the launch info of Stormblood. Before this happens, during the black screen, automatically pops up with error:
An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting Final Fantasy XIV. 2019-01-18_01:55
