Thread: Information on 1.21 Next week?

This is not off topic considering more than half the posts in this thread are direct criticisms of the way in which SE has or has not handled the release of patch 1.21 information in the face of a 2 week and potentially further delay.

Now I will start digging up proof of such criticism.

The reality is people are tired - which is 100 percent understandable regardless of how many droves of White Knights try to joust that fact down. They handled it wrong. As aforementioned if they have so much to bring to the table this time a slow build up of it, through various forms of information that is more tangible, is how it should have been handled.

As for your example as a graphic designer, cool story. We just don't live in the same real world I think. Delays happen often, everywhere, in all kind of activity sectors, especially when working internationally. It's always the same thing is the end, the customer only have one mean of pressure: not paying.

I wanted to reply to this post because it brought me some amusement. I highlighted one part which was particularly funny and the second part (sorry I edited out some stuff I found less interesting) about missing deadlines and not living in the same real world... I don't know what kind of a world you live in where it is ok to miss deadlines after deadlines with no communication with the client. In the real world I live in, if something gets delayed you keep the client up to date down to the minute of what is happening and why the delays has occured.
