This is not off topic considering more than half the posts in this thread are direct criticisms of the way in which SE has or has not handled the release of patch 1.21 information in the face of a 2 week and potentially further delay.

Now I will start digging up proof of such criticism.

The fact of the matter is they handled this all wrong. People need to feel hype for this patch. They could have spent all this time releasing tidbits of teasers. They could have released a job video a week, 30 seconds long hyping said job. Or to stretch it out show a WS a week from various jobs (so as not to spoil them all). The reality is people are tired - which is 100 percent understandable regardless of how many droves of White Knights try to joust that fact down. They handled it wrong. As aforementioned if they have so much to bring to the table this time a slow build up of it, through various forms of information that is more tangible, is how it should have been handled.
