    Crysta purchases through Paypal not working.

    Hey there,

    I am having issues purchasing Crysta through the Paypal option. Selecting that payment option instantly sent me to a page that said:

    "Thank you for your purchase of Crysta. Upon confirmation of your payment, Crysta will be added to your account."

    However, it didn't actually connect to Paypal. The same thing happened when trying to purchase Crysta using a different browser.

    This appears to be similar to an issue that had popped up in February 2017, as shown by a multi-page thread in the Closed Concerns section of these forums, as it had eventually been fixed: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ce-NOT-WORKING

    Is it possible that the same problem has popped up again?

    If that is the case, I'm hoping it'll be fixed in a similar time window, as using Crysta is my only option to pay for the added retainers on my account.

    I would like to suggest using a different browser or even your mobile device. If the problem persists we would need you to contact the support center directly, so we can obtain the details of your account and take a look into the issue.

    To reach our live chat support please follow the steps below.

    1. Visit the SQUARE ENIX Support Center at http://support.na.square-enix.com/
    2. Select FINAL FANTASY XIV as the game title.
    3. on the next screen click on "Contact".
    4. You will then need to select a category and sub category from the drop down menus.
    5. Next, type a basic description of your inquiry in the "Contact details" section and click "Next".
    6. on the following page click "Next" again. Ignoring any Knowledge Base Suggestions that may apply.
    7. Provided your contact is during SQUARE ENIX Support Center's hours of operation, you should see a Chat Support option. Click "proceed to chat support" to initiate contact with one of our Chat Support Representatives.

    NOTE: Live service is available Monday through Friday, 9:00 - 18:00 (Pacific Time) (Excluding holidays)

    I have the exact same issue.

    I also tried to purchase Crysta using the Paypal option but I got the same notification:
    "Thank you for your purchase of Crysta. Upon confirmation of your payment, Crysta will be added to your account."

    Using a different browser doesn't work either for me, and neither does it work when I use my mobile device.

    Let's just hope that they fix this issue soon.

    I've tried using a different browser already (as mentioned in the OP), but I've yet to contact the support center directly.

    Since I live in the EU, that'll have to wait until tomorrow, as it's past the hours of operation for chat support.

    Having contacted with chat support, I was informed that there currently is an issue with Paypal, and that it's already being investigated. While there's no lodestone notice yet, I'm guessing it'll take a few days for that to pop up (similar to the thread from February 2017.)
