    SE Account - Crysta and Paypal service NOT WORKING

    Hello!

    I am one of those who usually purchases crysta via paypal to use for my account sub and for purchasing items on the mogstation. This week I noticed that when you go to purchase crysta and use the paypal option the service NEVER connects to PAYPAL. Instead of connecting to the paypal site it will immediately pop up a message "Thank you for your purchase you will receive your crysta when payment is received" Just last week it would connect you to paypal.

    My roommate called customer service as he was having the same issue too.(his sub ran out...and wanted to resub!) The staff was very unhelpful. Told him to Try a different browser. Then the rep followed the same steps that any user would take and received the same out come. The admitted they didn't know there was a problem...but we should just wait it out and try again later. ---While understandable. Not good Customer service!

    This may actually be a bug that should be looked into!


    Oh- Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Log in to Mogstation
    2. Go to Square Enix Account Settings
    3. Select Add Crysta Option
    4. Redirect to SE account manager
    5. Select Crysta amount.
    6 Select payment type : Paypal.

    To be fair to the customer service, if they didn't know there was a problem, they probably aren't equipped to solve it yet. I'd just wait a few hours to a day or so and call back in, they may have found a work-around by then.

    It's been a problem for a few days. We submitted a ticket when it first occurred and had the same thought process That maybe they'll notice it or that it will fix.
    Upside! The know now...but the call seemed as if it was . "Oh thats nice... Thanks for calling"

    Yeah, definitely something that SE needs to look into then. It would seem that if you're calling in about a problem both you and your friend are having, that you wouldn't be the only call they're getting about it. Hopefully even if it's on Paypal's end, it won't take much longer to straighten out.

    i found ad-block stops the transaction for some reason sometimes - you may want to try disabling ad-block when you try to make payment.

    I've just checked and it still not working. Usually, a Paypal windows popped up for the transaction.

    "Thank you for your purchase of Crysta.
    Upon confirmation of your payment, Crysta will be added to your account.
    * Please note that in some cases there may be a delay before Crysta is added to your account."

    It seems to only affect NA users? I had an FC member who has a EU account go and able to get to the paypal screen and get through. He did state that his is EU.
    I can only confirm that my account is NA.

    Regardless! Hopefully we'll get it resolved! And very soon- especially when your customers cant make purchases its lost profits!

    If EU accounts works then it seems like NA only issue... One other thing that you can do is buy a Gametime card from Amazon. The 60 days Gametime card $29.99
    Unless you're a Legacy with discounted subscription then you'll have to wait to use Paypal. Hopefully they'll fix it very soon.
