Hunt Community vs Hunt Snipers

Umm...so...you didn't think at all that when you got warned the first time about swearing, that maybe, 'Hey, I shouldn't do this again'? That didn't cross your mind at all? "No...I'm just going to track them down to their house and confront them in person".


Look, yes, it sucks you got banned, and perhaps you have done your server a huge service. But you should've backed off after the first two warnings. But no...you dun goofed and started a witch hunt, and yeah, at this point, they were in their right to report you for that 3rd offense. Again, yes, it sucks. But you can't go around doing that - players will be players, especially in an online community. There's no rules that prevent players from being unsportsmanlike. That's life. Either you have to roll with the dice...or deal with the consequences. If you can't see why the GMs might have put you on a permanent ban after 3 warnings, then yeah, this is just a pity party, unfortunately. I don't mean to be harsh...but yeah...beyond my harsh statements, there's a truth that you're either doing to have to see, or deny it and carry on trying to plead your case to other players.

Also, let me throw this up here before I get accused of being understanding - we have a problem like this on Siren. Maybe still do...I dunno, I haven't hunted in months. It was an entire hunt linkshell having to deal with one single FC that would often do this. Yeah, it made us mad because that was a lot of hard work somebody put in. Did we start cursing them out? No. Did we visit their FC home or personal home and passive aggressively threatened them? No. We dealt with it by being prepared for the next hunt, and turned it into our own little competition - pull the S/A rank before they could start showing up.
