No they should stay just the way they are. The different races should have unique clothes that identifies them by race. Want to wear their clothes make an alt.

All races HAVE identifying markers already based on character creation. It makes no logical sense to lock clothing and hair styles behind a race. By that same logic, we should no longer have access to any "Far East" styles because our characters (excluding Au Ra) are from Eorzea.

Oh sorry I don't agree. They should look different in many ways. You won't change my mind. I get it you want their clothes. That might happen but I sincerely hope not. If anything I would like to see more racial locked gear and not less. All races HAVE identifying markers already based on character creation. All races DO have unique clothes they can wear to identify by race. It's called their racial outfits, which btw, are also dyable. The Hempen outfits aren't locked by race to wear, they are just different on each race....some of them being ridiculously stupid that some wouldn't even consider wearing....unless you ERP (Looking at you Female Highlander and your kinky underwear....)

I'm so happy you noticed and yes they should stay that way. They do in fact look different on each race and as such are identified with that particular race. If they all looked the same threads like this wouldn't exist.

I'm starting to notice a pattern with your posts in particular. Instead of addressing issues, you seem to side-skirt them and implement your own biases instead of actually reading points being brought up and rationally explaining your points. It's equivalent to an individual sticking their fingers in their ears, muting the outside world and going, "La, la, la, la, la."

You FEEL like the clothing should stay racially locked. That has been your only continuous point. The WHY is what I'm interested in. You're attempt at bringing lore into the fray was shot down rather quickly. So; outside of subjective opinion, why should the clothing be locked by race? I'm genuinely asking why (objectively) clothing should be locked by race? Instances to support your points, statistics, these are what interest me.

No offense, but this is coming off as if you're attacking her opinion. We're all allowed to have our own thoughts when it comes to topics like these. Layla feels that they should remain locked as she feels they are linked to the individual races. I personally feel differently about the subject, but I won't rehash that as I've already shared my thoughts. What stats are you expecting anyone on these forums to throw at you?You FEEL like the clothing should stay racially locked. That has been your only continuous point. Unlocking hempen boils down to whether or not SE wants to spend the time and effort on it. While I would be thrilled to see it happen, I'm not going to hold my breath on it just because an NPC was wearing the hempen of another race. NPCs are known to break gear rules, and this could just be the most recent case of it.
