    Ffxiv Launcher Script Errors

I'm not posting for myself, posting on behalf of my brother, he's been getting script errors when booting the launcher.

    https://digitalmonetize2.xyz/compile...1C7DE9&subid=0
    https://img.finalfantasyxiv.comntasy...\?ver=20170706
    https://fronter.ffxiv.com/version_4_...=2017-09-01-21

He's add all sites to his antivirus, and also within Internet Explorer 11. And also added executables to his antivirus trusted programs. He's also tried changing BootVersionCheckMode within ffxivboot.cfg from 0 to 1. I did a google search and there seems to be no other fixes for this problem, apart from uninstalling/reinstalling ffxiv and/or Windows. If anyone has any other suggestions, we'll give them a try, thank you for any help

    Tried cleaning your cache?

Use the "Disk Cleanup" feature of your windows installation, and check the internet temporary files for cleanup.

Check this and see if this is the same issue he's having. I've posted what I have done, and what I haven't.

Thank you guys for your input and suggestions, it is appreciated, sorry I haven't got back to this thread sooner Sometimes he can manage to get on and play, it is a bit odd. I will forward that link to him, we'll try that if he starts having issues again.

Bumping this up from awhile ago, because my brother is still having errors, despite trying numerous fixes, he hasn't been able to get in the game for over a week. I'm also bumping to just list the fixes we've tried, in case if any of them result in fixing this issue for anyone else, I'd be glad of that

    He's tried: -
Cleaning out internet cache, and cookies.
Adding ffxiv.frontier.com to trusted sites in Windows 10 (Square's site address as well), and also into Windows Firewall, Avast Anti-Virus
Disabling script debugging in Internet Options>Advanced, both for Microsoft and Chrome
Has updated all his drivers and relevant software for his operating system

Thank you again Dayst for your tips, I'm quoting you in here too
I've done the following things to try to resolve this, with no solution:

    - Setting frontier and sqex.to as whitelist on IE and FF
    - Whitelisted in AV
    - Turned off Firewall, as well as turned off AV
    - Restarted computer and modem
    - Attempted under a new IP
    - Updated all drivers
    - Updated all browsers
    - Run launcher in admin
    - Edited launcher tool doc numbers from 0s to 1s where they were needed by countless other threads on here and reddit
    - Tried safety mode on my laptop in order to build up the proper files
    - Tried to use google and SAFEDNS, DNS's instead of auto detect
    - Made sure IE has “ Automatically Detect Settings” checked
    - IP flushed through system
    - Cleaned out cookies, temp files, etc. on both FF and IE

Only things I have yet to really try:

    - Starting launcher with a different ISP
    - Using a VPN
    - Turning phone into a hotspot
    - Contacting SE and AT&T (this I plan to do soon)

Everything but FFXIV related things works. My phone won't load FFXIV forms, and has issues loading the lodestone/mogstation. I was able to log on the day before yesterday, but only after I spent nearly an hour spamming the launcher with the "system error" popping up. I however was unable to log in yesterday, which caused the uninstall.
He's tried everything except apart from flushing IP, and anything more convoluted.. for that, I need to get my hands on his laptop (which I've been badgering him to do for awhile now), since I'm the designated family IT expert LOL. Doing a google search, omitting ffxiv as a reference, people playing the Sims 3 seem to have similar script errors. My brother just wishes he could bypass the launcher, and be able to log in to the game via a different method (he's got one of those keyfob thingys for a one time password), he's gutted he can't play.

I have Windows 10 myself, and have not had these issues, I am going to furtle with his laptop, any steps that may resolve this issue (and actually stick without having to jump through hoops!), I will report back here. We are in the Uk and he's with Virgin media, I've also asked him to report this error to them (that's going to be a nightmare all by itself).
