    Tank Stat Adjustments Feedback/Recomendations

    I don't normally do this because normally Square Enix(SE) gets problems fixed in the right way. However this time in reference to http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-4.01-and-4.05 I am really concerned that SE has no clue how to proceed to fix the problem that tanks are having with the recent changes to their damage calculations. Please note the following two posts from myself for issues and recommendations for fixes.

    Current Issues:

    1) You said that you don't want to use VIT as the scaling for damage due to "HP inflation" then lock out STR accessories from tanks so they can only wear VIT accessories. That is causing HP inflation except now with no benefit other then more HP that we don't always need with proper cool down usage and shields from the healers.
    2) No matter how much the enmity combo's get buffed tanks will not spam them as they are the lowest potency combo's for DRK and PLD. So eventually tanks are not going to be generating enmity from enmity combos.
    3) As DPS and Healers are gaining main damage stats thier ability to generate enmity will eventually out pace tanks due to tanks not being able to generate enough hate with their damage.

    Recommendations for Fix's:
    1) Ignore HP inflation and go back to 3.X VIT calculations for damage for tanks. Healers would not be stressed and tanks will have damage to hold enmity and the HP to survive.
    2) Allow tanks to wear STR accessories this way we can do damage and not have HP inflation. Healers might get stressed over healing but tanks can wear enough VIT accessories to survive and enough STR accessories to do damage and hold enmity.

    Thank you for taking player feedback seriously and work on fixing the problems we are having as we play this game we love.
