- I recently discovered my legacy mount is not available
- all instances of travel or accessing player menus
- I used my sisters computer to access my account
- I reinstalled the FFXIV application on my Windows OS
- I do not recall the last time I used the mount:

I discovered the issue when a friend asked me how I got the tattoo displayed on my characters neck and my meteor ring. Then, they wanted to take a screen shot of us together on my Legacy Mount.

Sorry if this might sound stupid, but are you sure you ever had it?

Looking at your character on the Lodestone doesn't show it in your mounts/minions section (which I appreciate is exactly what you're saying), but in case you're not aware it's not linked to the My Little Chocobo achievement, that's just the regular company chocobo. There is no achievement for the Legacy Chocobo.

The Legacy chocobo (sorry if you already are fully aware of this!) only went to players with a legacy account (players who subscribed for a certain amount of time during a certain period). It is completely possible to have the legacy tattoo, but not be a legacy account (I am this myself). The tattoo is only to mark a legacy character, one that came from 1.0.

From my understanding, when you login on the character selection screen there is a legacy icon on there if it's a legacy account and likewise logging into the Square Enix account management (and mogstation?) websites will show the same. If that's not showing Legacy, that'll be why you don't have a Legacy Chocobo.

Doing some checking, apparently SE also emailed all Legacy people to let them know they are eligible for a Legacy account so if you are sure you have a legacy account I would look for that email to prove it to them. Sorry I have no idea when it was sent/subject etc., but I would assume August 2013 or earlier.

SE themselves don't reply to support threads here though I'm afraid, this is more for players to help other players. You could try posting in In-Game Bugs, but ultimately you might have to contact them via other methods I'm afraid.

Ya i am legacy. I pay the monthly legacy fee, which is different. I purchased my account in Oct 2010 and played until the servers went completely down- we did have a period where we were not required to pay a monthly fee. I understand some purchased the game towards the end of 1.0, before they did the data wipe where players were still able to play, but no data was retained.

I played and paid and SE should be able to verify this with my account data, if they took the time to review my account history. I posted that to show I had completed lv 50(cap at the time) and completed those duties need to have had a mount, which is apparently meaningless since I am on a public forum where there is no SE technical support to verify anything I post. I wont show all my account data, as SE advised me not to do this. I also, as indicated in my ticket, had the mount and no longer do. I believe it was lost when I transferred from Balmung to Goblin.

I was trying to provide as much data as possible w/o showing personal account information. I can claim anything here, as can I do on Reddit. I came here thinking I was getting tech support.

Sorry I can't personally help though, but I still recommend posting it in In-Game Bugs as although they never visibly reply on those threads, they do still seem to move them to other subfolders like accepted etc so I assume they're being looked into.

There's a sticky in that forum that is worth reading, because it also says about template to use etc (similar to how your first message here was) so recommend posting exactly like they request to hopefully get it resolved quicker.

Thanks- yes it was accepted. I double posted this on accident- my 1st time reporting a bug.

My hope was, and still is that SE will resolve my issue and I can post here just that - These guys fixed my issue. Awesome! I keep checking my email, posts and in-game, because I truly have hope they are on the ball and just slow responding. I figured this would be fast and easy. Check mog station and the data servers to verify my account is legacy, post known issue in data-link to underpin causation and see if other accounts were or will be impacted, contact the IT department to mail me a whistle, and close the ticket.

did you check if maybe you stored the whistle on a retainer or something without summoning it?

Yes. Its not in my storage. I think, but cannot verify, that the item ID was truncated when I transferred from Balmung to Goblin.
