    Steps:
    - I recently discovered my legacy mount is not available ; I had the mount, and I do not have it now
    - I did activate using the whistle
    - I did use the item
    - transferred from Balmung to Goblin (possible issue?)
    -I was a legacy player and I did play 1.0 when released until servers went down.
    - all instances of travel or accessing player menus
    - I used my sisters computer to access my account (didnt resolve)
    - I tried reinstalled the FFXIV application on my Windows OS (didnt resolve)
    - I do not recall the last time I used the mount

    I discovered the issue when a friend asked me how I got the tattoo displayed on my characters neck and my meteor ring. Then, they wanted to take a screen shot of us together on my Legacy Mount.

    You can't stable the legacy chocobo. It acts as a generic mount rather than a companion like the one from your GC.
    If (s)he's never used it, try checking for the whistle. It may never have been unlocked!

    You can also have a tattoo and not have a legacy account, because the tattoo only signifies the character was created during 1.0, the ring is also not legacy exclusive. So if you indeed have a legacy account check your mogmail for the whistle, if you never retrieved the whistle via mail and used it you wont have the mount.

    Is this area really for tech support or opinions and vague ideas? Is this help or public questioning my post integrity. If I indeed did play 1.0 and so on...? .. I can do that on Facebook and Reddit.

    I was regularly on when FFXIV was released in 2010 until we no longer had access, and fully leveled long before the end. I figured the position of my wording suggested I had a mount and I don't now. I can see now that maybe I wasn't clear enough. I had the mount, and I do not have it now. Honestly, this is tiresome. Why cant SE just have a tech contact me? Why an open forum with suggestions? Is this where I will get the run around until i just give up?

    This was my main, so it wasn't a character created shortly before 1.0 went down or w.e is suggested. Square has all my account information and they can verify this. I had my mount and used it frequently. It is no longer in my list of available mounts. I was directed here to get assistance after contacting a GM via http://support.na.square-enix.com- They sent me an email to come here and submit a ticket. I get the feeling I am going to get nowhere...I did activate the whistle when 2.0 was released. I supposed i can edit my post. I was trying to illustrate how i discovered my predicament-story telling, not get legacy attention/ brag or w.e. people do here. I just want my mount back.

    I transferred from Balmung to Goblin - was it lost in the transfer? Can SE verify this? Do they have real tech support people that can t/s bugs and such? Am i getting technical support assistance from SE here or should I try a different avenue?
