Thread: 4.0 Housing

I'm guessing we'll likely get the usual themed items when the shirogane housing is released (wallpaper, flooring, doors, windows, fences and what not, most of which are district locked). Nothing new on house moving yet, I'm hoping we receive more details when they announce shirogane's opening date.

If I had to make a guess, they did mention new items were added to the silver-trimmed sacks in potd. That'd be floors 101-150 which I imagine aren't as popular right now since everyone's basically just using the leveling portions of potd.

Thanks for keeping the thread updated! I'm super disappointed we have to wait so long and unless there are technical difficulties or we are going to get some major surprise like more wards opening I just don't see a reason for it. The longer they wait to release this, the more people have time to get their hopes up for a house but there just isn't enough to go around. I also feel for the people who just want an apartment in Shirogane.

I just hope they don't pull some stupid trick and announce the release of the new housing towards the end of a maintenance. In that interview that's flying around everywhere, Yoshi says "somewhere in 4.1" so for all we know it might not be till 4.15. I seriously wouldn't doubt it if it was released pre-4.1 and announced during a patch like it's no big deal.

I'd really like an answer for when it's going to be released, with significant advance.

Well there's a Live Letter coming up soon, let's hope there's more news on housing in it. Also, anyone remember if there's any words regarding new wards for the ARR housing area? I'm hoping to get a medium at Beds if possible...

Well I finally have enough gil for a medium house, and just like everyone else I want some warning as to when housing is going to be released. If I have to take off work to get the house I want, so be it. But give me concrete dates! I have my eye on a few plots but I'm on Sargatanas, so it'll be ridiculous getting a house unless you're RIGHT THERE when they drop.

Limit # of houses owned pls Squeenix!
