    Unable to download patch

    Howdy, so i just got a new PC yesterday and freshly installed windows 10 on it.


    i went to download ff14 but every time the launcher tries to download it stops about 500 megs and claims an error.

    Unable to download patch [XXXXX] [XXXXX] [XXXXX]

    ive read around that i can download a VPN and finish the download that way which is what ill end up doing... but...

    honestly why should i have to. the launcher should work as is.

    this is truely a burden... im seeking words of wisdom and advice from people who have had the same problem.

    im no network administrator. but what i was told is that my router's firewall is blocking the download. i rarely ever mess with its settings and I'm kinda intimidated to even try.

    Just keep trying. People came up with all sorts of dubious solutions, but it really seemed random with the only workaround being to keep trying and trying until it finally worked.
