FFXIV Causing PC Reboot on Zone

In the past week or so, I've begun getting random crashes that force a system restart on the Windows client. I haven't made any hardware or software changes of any kind.

The only commonality I can find is that the crashes tend to happen when I zone such as into a duty via the finder or into my personal estate. It doesn't seem to matter how long I play. There doesn't seem to be a temperature issue with my PC. I have tried both the Directx 9c and 11 clients. I haven't experienced any crashes with any other games or software on my PC. I am running Windows 10 which is automatically kept up to date, and I am using dual Geforce 1080 cards which also have up-to-date drivers.

I welcome any advice from the tech support team and community.

I once had a problem like this and after reinstalling the game the issue disappeared. Might be worth a try if you are still having issues.

Did the issue start after a NVidia Driver update? Maybe try rolling back the drivers and see if the problem persists.

For me personally, switching from "Windowed Borderless" to "Fullscreen" worked to stop my DX11 crashes.
