    More 50 x Cure3 test results

    I don't want to bother other ppl's thread too much, so make a separated thread here

    I tested various condition based on 50 cure 3 results with thamaturge. Tested subjects are mind, water magic potency, Piety, healing magic potency, magic eva. Here is the google doc

    Some conjure results are here

    in sum, +11 water magic pot do nothing to curing( will do it again after patch1.20) [Note: based on ppl's discussion about missing water elements in 1.20 here]

    +12 healing magic pot added 18hp(1.9%) on conj normal cure 3 and 14hp (1.4%) on total including crit healing of conj's cure 3
    added 10hp (1.36%) on thm normal cure 3 and 19hp(4%) increase on thm 50 cure3 avg including crit heal

    +14 piety It does nothing in normal healing but increased the crit heal rate... bring the total 50 avg increased 15hp (2.2%) based on thm cure3

    +8 mind It does increase healing amount. Based on thm test, it increased 5~6hp (0.5-0.7%) out of normal cure avg (90+ times normal cure so the error rate should be lower than other comparison).
    [Note: use naked vs naked +14 pie, normal healing avg is +-1hp I think that set this normal avg cure error amount for 50 test samples should be within +-2 hp. So there is slightly chance that mind is doing nothing just I'm got the +2 on one test and -2 on other. But, I think it's low...]

    Magic eva It seems decreased the cure crit healing rate... however due to only 3-6 crit out of 50 tests, the test body still too little to be conclusive... some test description at here

    I'm going to assume by your results that.

    Mnd = Healing potency
    Pie = Healing cap

    Currently heal spells have a "Hard cap" that they wont go over, possibly determined by a players Piety or certain skills "Prime conditioning"

    This can easilly be seen with skills like Bloodbath II that drain 100% of your damage (To a certain cap) if someone happened to be more energetic than me with a marauder at 50 they could test this easilly. Bloodbath II will only cure so many HP regardless of the damage you inflict (I think it was around 800HP for my character)

    Equiping something with + Pie to see if that raises the capped heal rate would be rather easy...but I'm lazy.

    Bloodbath II is an ability, not a healing spell. The underlying functions are completely different, none of these results would even apply to Bloodbath.

    That being said, very interesting test results! I like seeing tests like these have some kind of concrete outcome, helps me better understand what gear I should use. Keep up the good work!

    As of now, this statement has no factual bases that I am aware of. Many other threads dispute this with actual evedince. Do you have evidence to support your claim ?

    hmm it is lv dependent. I did have a whole thread about it :P
    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ulation-Method

    Tested with different level of classes and the crit decreased with level increased.
    "So I used my mule change the job between L14 cul, L21 alcemist, L27 fisher, and L42 conj. My crit for cure 3 were: 16xx, 16xx, 15xx, 13xx.
    while normal cure 3 still stay around 9xx."
