    Keyboard layout change since 1.19?

    Hello!

    I was wondering is there was a keyboard layout change since 1.19. Let me explain the situation:

    Being french Canadian, I use a french qwerty keyboard, however I play the game in English (personal preference, I played all my FF in English). Since 1.19, it seems like the keyboard layout is changed to English qwerty layout rather keeping my Windows default french Canadian layout. For example, the "^" is no longer available and some other characters (é ` ¨ ç and so on).

    Was there a change in 1.19 that locked a keyboard layout with the language of the game? Is there a work around for it so I can have back my french Canadian qwerty layout while playing in English?

    N.B.: I haven't tried playing in French to confirm that my keyboard stays on the french Canadian layout or switches to French azerty layout.

    Hello ^^. According to the Patch 1.19 notes you can select from two preset keyboard layouts. The patch notes list which preset makes each key action do. I use a gamepad so I'm not sure if there were several presets pre-patch but you may want to read the notes. I hope this helps!

    You think the keyboard presets would have changed my keyboard keys? Hmm, I'll test it out and come back to report it later. Thanks! That would be weird though, I thought the preset was only for changing the bound keys so some players can use the arrows keys for the camera.

    Anyway, I'll investigate some more tomorrow.

    Nope, keyboard layout A or B in the configuration menu in the game doesn't change a thing.
