A certain keyboard key stopped working 1 or 2 patches ago.

I use a Swedish keyboard (cuz I'm swedish !) and there's one important button that have recently stopped working. I belive it worked before 1.19.

That is my [¨~^] Key.

Swedish keyboard layout:



It's to the left of the Enter key.

You see my dilema right? No more JP smiles!!! No more (^_^) or ~('A')~ etc.

Is anyone else experiencing anything like this? Any swedes around to test this themselves?

Same problem for german users. Try Alt+94 and Alt+126. You can search the web for more unicodes :P

Not to diss unicodes but that's one hell of a detour to me expressing my emotions! \(>.<)/

Got this issue as well, really annoying when I can't use certain symbols when I want to type, and not just to make smileys.

Also got the exact same issue with accents on my pt-BR keyboard

It does not really matter WHERE on the keyboard the key is.
It's just certain symbols.
For example, on my German keyboard, ^ and ° are on the same key, and ° works fine while ^ doesn't.
So I can write °-° without problems, while ^-^ is not working.

Well, that's actually not true.
^ IS working, but it's hard to get it to work. You have to press the key for 2-3 seconds instead of just touching it for a moment.
If you do that, something between ^^^^^ and ^^^^^^^^^^^ shows up.
You can delete as many as you wish so you have only left what you need for your smiley.


But really, I hope they fix this, it's annoying and takes longer than usual.

Did it happen the same time? Say 1-2 patches ago?

Got this issue with my qwerty French Canadian keyboard. Keys likes ^ ¸ ¨ é è ê have stopped working.
