Um, no you are assuming. I do take into consideration what my ls suggests. We then discuss such things. We then test such things. We then find what is optimal to us. As I said, I play my roles efficiently. I have had no complaints. And until I hear otherwise, I will continue to play with the freedom that I have.

You do have freedom to a degree, no matter what there are hard facts about stats and what a certain class needs to fulfill their role. The game is restricting you to a certain set of things either way, which you discover through your testing. There is a degree of variance yes but certain builds just need certain stats. True you don't have to follow someone else's build point for point but you do have to stay within certain parameters to be effective.

You've got the right attitude, don't let these others let you down. That's what I hated beyond description about the XI community and their need to control every little thing everyone did, not accepting to even TRY new ways of fighting or job combos because they were not the proven most efficient ones. It might have saved some time but at the same time you have to wonder what was lost.
