Can I report for being vote dismised?

I got a kick coming from nowhere with my alt as healer. Everything was going fine but... they just kicked me without explaination. They have been even worse, totally hypocrit, one of them claimed his game was frozen. I bet they were from same FC. Did they expect I could put the stone wall in a lvl17 dungeon when the skill is lvl 34?

Maybe they wanted I dps but from my point of view, with their stuff and since synchronization for white mage isn't that good (too high for only heal, a bit low to dps if the tank isn't that well stuffed) it was not really reasonable.

I kick people all the time for being horrible/auto attacking. I have never once been warned for it.

There you go Pretty dumb IMO. I got vote kicked similarly from a Weeping City recently, though in that case they timed it so it would be at a normal ready check timing

Probably kicked you to get someone from their FC in. In any case its a very low and a d*** move imho. Only times I would accept a vote kick is afk reason or someone extreamly toxic to the group.

I kicked some idiot lv 60 out of Haukke Manor the other day because he was wearing full Spirit Bonding accessories on his right side... (Plus a +Spirit Bond helmet and +Spirit Bond Belt) and HE WASN'T EVEN WEARING ARMOUR THAT COULD BE SPIRIT BONDED! /facepalm /smh

His reason for wearing them? "Don't worry about it bro".

I know nobody who was punished for inappropriate votekicking. These reports just never work.

Looking at it from a business stand-point, emphasis on how this games game model is portrayed. Duty finder vote kicks get the canned "what's your problem; we take this issue seriously; we will investigate this in-depth" because they won't do anything. They probably do have the resources to do the investigation but, why do it? It's a waste of time and resources, they give you piece of mind with their words and assume you chance of running into that person again is 0.001% (throwing out Fox News numbers here) why even bother. If the person is from the same server you'll get this response, "blacklist them, that is the function of blacklisting". I've never been kicked from a group but from a business stand point this is the most logical way to handle a situation and keep making dollars.

While the GM team obviously don't have the resources to handle every single report in a timely manner, they aren't paid to just sit around pretending to work (otherwise why bother having GMs in general then?). They DO dish out the bans/suspensions when applicable as people had shown before, whether on here or another site (I remember someone posted a video of themselves being jailed by a GM). Just because we have handful of people here claiming the GMs are useless doesn't mean that's the case every single time for other people in other situations. If the GMs really never did anything, we'd have worse problems and more people leaving. You say it's more profitable for Square to have the GMs tell people to ignore the problem, but know what else is also profitable? Keeping your current customers happy. Being cynical isn't the sole way of staying in business. Being smart is.

This is why the Vote Dismiss option should be disabled if there are members of the same Free Company in the same party. If these cliquish types cannot properly use these tools, it needs to be taken away from them.

Just because a few people misuse it is no reason to punish those who do use it correctly. Then what happens to the group of 3 in a FC that get that 1 troll who refuses to do anything, can't kick and he refuses to leave.
