Thread: Keyboard settings wrong for rare chars since 1.19

Hello! I'm Eduardo from Spain (EU).

Ingame keyboard seems to be configured for another country or something since patch 1.19. I posted a message at ZAM and another person have experienced the same. A friend of mine is also experiencing this.

Windows7 is properly configured for (in my case) "Spanish (from Spain)" and the system is running fine across all applications except FFXIV (I don't even have english schema installed at all)

I cannot write words with accent á, é, í and so on. I cannot write emoticons like ^_^ because I cannot write "^" character.

It seems that my keyboard is configured for US or something... But just ingame FFXIV !!!

Please. Look for a solution. My language needs those chars with accent and I want my emoticons back ^_-

Thank you for taking the time to post your concern in the forums. The thread was moved from In Game bugs to Technical Support. It could be a minor technical issue that could be cause of the problem. Hopefully everything works out for you soon!
