As time has passed, some comments and some questions have been answered and as such I would like to redirect this thread (That still gains replies even to today) to focus on the unanswered questions only.

Namely:

As a person not living in JP, NA or EU, that I am worried that those of us who are not in the 3 above mentioned Countries will not be able to obtain them at all.

But also draw focus to a request to not have region exclusives at all (See: Nimbus/Powerpole Chinese exclusive).
Yes we can wait for them to be distributed to all regions, but perhaps in the future; they could do a better job of communicating with us and assure us that everyone will have access, including the ever nervous pacific who still dont even know if we will be able to participate in the UK promotion for the Maid sets!

This has happened with every FF event (we're not allowed to participate as Australians) they've had & game cards aren't even sold in Melbourne.... something very aggravating and is point blank exclusion but it is not something new.

It would be very nice if the game could see us as customers to begin with in the first place.

To be honest when they said they were thinking of adding the Chinese items to Mogstation near the start of the letter, (hopefully Korean stuff too) I was happy...but then when they said JAPANESE EXCLUSIVES when we actually share the same version...

I hope they add them to the Mog Station and not some promotion with 7 Eleven of NA/EU, otherwise us Aussies will be left out like usual. :l

I see it like event items. Maybe during the like anniversary they may pop up on the mog station. FFXI had alot of items that were only sold in JP so I'm not concerned about it really because I currently am coming in with no expectations of NA/EU getting them

Thank you very much for making this thread, I appreciate it. And would also like to further voice the disgust I'm currently having with this, and sort of the small bit of hypocrisy. I can't find the quote or the possible quote at this time, but I'm pretty sure outside of the Chinese version for FFXIV, that Yoshi had stated at some point he was actually AGAINST region locking in-game items for various reasons.

Are you telling me now, that your stance has changed on this Yoshi? Because I'm not sure I'm ok about this at all... I'm all for them bringing the event to us for the rest of the world in some way please. I'd even accept the mogstation at this point, I mean spending money on drinks/the items, either way you got spend the money to get those items in some fashion...

I'm upset with this. I really didn't mind cash shop or FFXIV merchandise for in game items because it was all XIV related. But now I have to spend money on products I don't like or don't want to get in game stuff? And the stuff includes a really nice mount. Really hope Yoshida releases these items to Cash Shop in 2017.
