Melding mind is a waste on any equipment that isn't normal quality, as you'll receive precisely 0 stats for your time and girl spent. As such, if DPS is that important to you, accuracy is the most viable meld you can take. As for non-healer jobs getting it on their gear, keep in mind that killing the enemy is PRECISELY why they are there in the first place.

I won't touch on the healer DPS debate, but healers aren't required to kill things in non solo content simply by content design, if people are missing as much as they say they are.
