Yeah they kept giving me useless information (asking for my account details 100 times) until I reached one Etisalat Care representative that actually listened to the problem. She said she would file a complaint and I haven't heard from her in 2 days. Then I received this email 20 minutes ago, so she did her job and it reached the people that have the authority to do something about it.

I really hope. In KSA it's allowed, DU you can play. Why etisalat is doing that with us??
Etisalat has to change it and apologize for that. Easy solution.

Again, guys i don't think its blocked from our ISP, otherwise we cannot play it on pc, its a firewall issue with HS psn connection, wonder what happened that's why they did this nasty move.

Im starting to believe this maybe true gtavaddict, I did the below test:
- Started VPN connection on my phone
- switched to 4G connection
- opened personal hotspot
- Connected PS4 to phone with VPN on

When I accessed the client its still unable to complete version check. I would assume that even when bypassing ISP firewall/proxy, the problem is still there. Yet again, Im not sure how Du is able to connect. It would be interesting to know what happened and how it got solved which prolly we'll never know lol

Worst comes to worst, we should all have a strike infront of etisalat lool jk.

I wonder if striking is even allowed in the UAE??

I really want this issue to be fixed soon, and hope etisalat learns something from this stupid issue...
