PLD is confirmed to be adjusted at 3.1 there's a threat about it.op edit first post remove all mentions of buffing any pld powers and se will take notice and buff drk and war cause se says pld is currently the perfect defensive tank.
SE has said time and time again pld will not be buffed or balanced as its perfectly flawed and will remain this way that's why they made drk the pld replacement btw.
please give PLD stasis sword ;;

I want to see that attack that was AOE that was used by HILBERT on the last CS of ARR in the fight against RUBAN, and that same ability used again by our JOB MASTER in our final fight against him at lvl 60 that for some fucking reason we don't fucking have, that should have been our lvl 60 ability an we should have gotten Royal authority much more sooner...
I'm pretty sure the only thing they actually came out and said is that the next raid tier will be more physical damage based than this one, but not any kind of direct buff to PLD.
Because WAR totally needs more TP sustain, and a 10 TP advantage on its DoT skill over DRK along with all the other things it does better.
A low-cost DoT is one of the few perks DRK enjoys over WAR. Leave it be.
WAR may not need nerfs, but it DEFINITELY does not need *buffs*. I mean, cmon now. I smell a troll post.

There's an interview somewhere where Yoshi-P said something about adjusting abilities on PLD, also that magic damage will not be blockable. I'd have to dig for it now.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Stance-on-Pld here this Thread was made recently OP translate a few stuff for us there...
There's nothing else to be added, all that was said by Yoshi-p was translated very well by the BG guy. I think it was just a quick question and answer, not like an interview specific to tanks.
Unless you want me to go through pages of random comments hoping for some nugget of information...
I'll sit down and think of some things that I'd like you and others to consider and if it's good enough, encourage others with suggestion threads to add my thoughts onto them. It might be a while because I'm going to take into consideration what stats and abilities the other tanks can apply to themselves that we shouldn't in order to maintain identity.
It happens. If the choice is using dark arts/dance dance when blood price is up or going without a defensive cooldown for 15ish seconds because "muh mana"... going the second route is just stupid.
I.E. I rotate through my cooldowns so I have Dark Dance, Foresight and Shadowskin up for wave 7. It's always about efficiency, is not using a cooldown so I get........what, 15% more mana back a better use of the raids resources than say, popping da/dd and the healer on me being able to either save their mana or cast an aero 3/gravity/combust/bio/broil etc. If I dodge 0 times, it happens. If I dodge once, twice, three times? Saving raid mana at the small cost of my own. Refusing to use tools I have because "muh mana". What am I doing to do with my mana? An extra 140 potency? Rather gamble on the extra dodge chance (especially when I'm tanking 3-4 mobs) than .....300 hp more healed.
I'm not even dropping Darkside in the fight, so I'm guessing the mana I've "wasted" was so helpful.
I need to offer you my apologies, Eagledorf. I've come to the realization that my suggestions will take up an incredibly large amount of space since I'm going to explain a ton of things. It will be here, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...t-happens-when.....
I suggest looking into it often because it will take a while for me to completely finish the thread as it will be an incredibly lengthy read.
