    AST Updates [Patch Notes]

    Healing
    • Benefic - Potency has been increased from 380 to 400.
    • Benfic II - Potency has been increased from 620 to 650.
    • Helios - Potency has been increased from 290 to 300.
    • Aspected Benefic;
      Potency of the regen effect from Diurnal Sect has been increased from 100 to 140.
      Amount of damage nullified by the barrier from Nocturnal Sect has been increased from 100% of HP restored to 130% of HP restored.
    • Aspected Helios
      Potency of the regen effect from Diurnal Sect has been reduced from 50 to 40.
      Cure potency when not using Nocturnal Sect has been increased from 140 to 200.
      Cure potency when using Nocturnal Sect has been increased from 140 to 150.


      Utility
    • Synastry - An effect has been added that increases the caster's healing potency by 20% for 20 seconds. The party member under the effect of Synastry will now recover HP when any other party member is targeted with a healing spell. Furthermore, the amount of HP recovered has been reduced from 50% to 40%. Recast time has been reduced from 120 to 90 seconds.
    • Celestial Opposition - Recast time has been reduced from 150 to 120 seconds.
    • Disable - The effect has been changed reduce the potency of all the target's offensive actions for the duration. Duration has been reduced from 10 to 6 seconds.
    • Collective Unconscious- Will now grant Regen and 10% damage reduction to party members when using either Diurnal Sect or Nocturnal Sect.Auto-attack will now be cancelled upon execution. Regen potency has been reduced from 200 to 150. Duration of regen has been reduced from 18 to 15 seconds.

      Card Effects
    • The Balance - Duration has been increased from 15 to 30 seconds, regardless of single target or area-of-effect.
    • The Bole - Duration has been increased from 15 to 30 seconds, regardless of single target or area-of-effect.
    • The Arrow - Duration has been increased from 15 to 30 seconds, regardless of single target or area-of-effect.

    Have to say rather nice buffs across the board. Potency changes, cooldowns reduced, card durations buffed, and even Disable acts more like Virus now. I still don't see us using Collective Unconscious all that much, but still a nice buff regardless.

    Really like the Synastry buff though, even with the 10% reduction of healing on the partner you pick.

Yes, we did lose 10 potency on Aspected Helios, but our HoT potential in general outside of niche cases where you can effectively make use of Collective Unconscious, got buffed from 150 (100+50) to 180 (140+40).

    Just figured I'd point that out. :P

    Our MAX HoT potential (on a single target) did drop, though. 350 (100+50+200) to 330 (140+40+150).

    Since there's pretty much no way to buff Collective Unconscious in a way that would justify the lost GCDs in terms of healing, I'm a little disappointed they didn't give it some extra utility to make you want to milk it, like granting MP refresh while channeling or extending card effects.

    Other than that, this was more than I was expecting, especially the card duration buffs. Was hoping for shuffle/spread cooldown reduction personally, but at least now your buff effects can compete with SCH.

    There is a way to buff it and those buffs to CU weren't the issue with using it the issue with using it is you can't do anything when you have it up and all they had to do to fix it is make it non channel and allow you to place it on the field problem solved and the move becomes actually useful.

    Actually im quite shocked if we are talking about numbers, because aspected helios in nocturnal stance is now stronger than succor(except that its slower), because of 5% healing increase in nocturnal sect. Our shield is now 157.
    Alp. Benefic shield is now 130% of HP restored, it used to be 250 heal + 250 shield, now it is 250 heal + 325 shield?? Plus 5% nocturnal sect healing buff makes a shield 341 ? And an instant cast. That's stronger and more reliable than adloquim.

    CO is still kinda meh, but at least it will come up at the same time as your LU comes up.

    The cards being 30 seconds now is pretty decent as well, its still RNG but at least longer.

    And CO now also works well in nocturnal, i just still will have to test if u can move when in it. I dont get much the auto attack thing. Is it probably the same channeling ability?

    All in all: nocturnal sect received massive buff, in nocturnal sect we actually have 5% stronger heals than other healers. We still lack emergency heals, but im curious how it will go with these changes

    Synastry can now function as an Emergency Heal with the 20% Amp Boost and ability to heal two targets. I mean, we don't have the same ability to toss out a free Assize or something but we definitely gained some emergency recovery.
