Small QoL Improvements

I really like the new map interface, but one issue persists: It's very hard for me to see the white cursor on the yellow background. This is really annoying when trying to quickly teleport to a linked Hunt or FATE. Please give us the option to make the cursor black.

Also, when lotting for loot, can you make the number we roll show up either above or below the loot? Some pieces of loot have the same or similar colour to the text of the number we roll, making it very hard to see what we've rolled.

The above are both PS4 issues, since I'm not right in front of my screen.

*** Please Add the ability to change instances faster than leaving a zone then returning and picking which of the three instances you would like to go to. It's very challenging for Hunts to get to the correct instance before you get to the correct location. Simply add an cue at the nearest Aetheryte that allows you to select which instance you want to get into as same as it is while you are trying walk/ride into the zone and then select the instance you want to move to.

What I would suggest as a quality of life improvement is this:


Allow teleportation via Fishing Log maps. Botanist and Miner already get the location of the area to pop up on the real map when they click the Gathering Log locations, why not allow Fisher to use their Fishing Log as real map as well?

Please change the default name for screenshots to have the date in Year-Month-Day order rather than Month-Day-Year order.

I play on PS4 and like to take lots of screenshots. I recently copied a bunch of them to my computer and find it really frustrating to go through them, because they won't sort correctly. Although when viewing them on the PS4 itself, it can display them in date/time order, when copied to a thumb drive for transfer, it sets the filedate to the time they're copied rather than when they were taken, and they're copied in a random order.

That issue by itself is Sony's doing and there's nothing SE can do about it, but I expect that SE can quite easily give us a simple workaround. The file names already include the date and time they were taken, along with the name of the character we were playing at the time, like "Y'kayah Tia 07_24_2017 00_37_19.jpg". Since it includes our character name, I'm pretty sure the game itself (rather than the PS4 OS) is choosing the filename to use, in which case it should be a simple matter for SE to change the order in which the pieces are included. Changing the date portion of the filename from "07_24_2017" to "2017_07_24" would make the files sort correctly. (It's also a more universal international standard for dates, anyway.)

With the upcoming increase of stack sizes to 999 could we finally get the option to purchase only part of a stack on the market board? And also can we please get the ability to mail to our alts (it is very annoying to have to bug a friend to mail a crafted item etc to an alt character).

I would also like to request that holiday synthesis items like the battered fish for moonfire faire be quick synthable. It seems weird that you need several but can only craft them one by one.

Don't close the game when for some reason you couldn't connect to servers at the main menu.

Don't make you use the One Time Password for every time you login. A register location/device feature could fix this.

Still logged in error haunts me since 2.0 how about you fix this?

It was partially implemented... but REALLY REALLY would LOVE to be able to sync between PC and PS4... Enough to actually buy Heaven's Ward and Stormblood a second time for PC (I have A Realm Reborn PC already lol).

Not asking for live sync, just something like Save Appearance data that would be restorable on any version of the game (PS4 / Steam / PC)

I necro-bumped it a bit with some Ideas... but Camate isn't around anymore (in an official capacity)
