    We need mid-combat gear swapping.

    Are why we need to be able to swap in gear suitable to the situation at any given time (preferably with macros). That way argumentative threads like the ones above won't be necessary.

    Actually I'd use those two tank threads to support the tank acc need strength, SE has thus far made gear customization not a thing - so tanks being unique is sort of like why Bards and Ninjas only have one gear piece to be concerned about instead of two (and why most paladin stuff comes in a unit together).

    I understand there might be an argument that all classes should be expected to have some gear customization to add flavor so you could take that the other direction- but currently seems like tanks are expected to have more gear options than just "did you meet the Accuracy requirement?".

    I get what your saying. In my experiance, I get griped at for both VIT (from DPSs) and STR (From healers) gear. It seems to be less if I choose VIT gear so I go with that. I wish people would honor the Non-agression Principle.more and just back off. Let me play the game I payed for.

    I actually like gear options but I like them to be fair and close to your "let me play my way" as possible (its impossible to be 100% "all your options are great" but can be close). I was just adding that it seems like tanks are getting the poop end of that deal lol. "You're expected to have gear, you need that gear, oh btw you can't need on it because SE doesn't think you need it". I had a set of slaying from lvl 50 because of luck that no one needed it but if people honestly expect you to be double gearing for a job because the gear SE is putting out isn't acceptable.. I think SE should be examining what they're putting out. Or make everyone do that, like how they didn't want Bards to be buying arrows even though it added complexity and options (debuff/elemental options) or having Ninjas be able to use two different daggers (although in addition part of the dagger might because they don't use horizontal progression).

    Also, since we are talking about carrying armor around everything except your armor and inventory slot instantly does not matter.

    You actually do get about a thousand counting all of those things
    Personal Inventory = 100
    2x Retainers = 300 (150 slots each)
    Armory Chest = 300 (12 x 25)
    Armoire = ???, but you can currently hold a decent amount. I currently have.... 222 items stored within
    Shards/Crystals/Cluster = 18 slots

    That all amounts to... 940 slots. Not 1000 but you can probably hold more then I do in Armoire, and I'm not counting key items /retainer crystals. That also doesn't count things like minions/mounts.
