That is not a harp, and those are not strings.

That is a recurve longbow, and those are extra arrows. Look real close. You will clearly see arrowheads and fletchings.

I think you're all in denial. Those would be some pretty damn small arrows if that's the case. Also why use some complex mechanism like that when you can just us a quiver? I mean real world aside, in a game it really doesn't matter or do much for you. Archers have no problem grabbing a new arrow quite quickly.

Also to that end, why have it in the shape of a harp? I mean if it's not a harp then SE is trying really hard to troll everyone. Archer was the only class in the list without an obvious job and Bard was the only job in the list without an obvious class. Put 2 and 2 together.

I think its bow/harp. Like when you want to use a bardspell(song) you kinda "fling" the notes away like arrows.
Thats why there's a grip on the harp itself, right in the middle.
