We knew since last Friday that Early Access expires on the 27th, not the 23rd. They did that for the sole reason that people wouldn't all get their packages on the 23rd. If early access was over, I wouldn't be in Ishagard right now because I don't have a Heavensward license. No code to play, because it's in a box at Customs.

I see no harm in extending the license for another week. I'm all for it SE.

This sucks because a lot of us forked over about 3 times what a digital version would have cost, only to get stuck because the physical key is IN THE BOX, instead of on the website where it SHOULD have been.

I ended up ordering a digital version of the standard edition to continue playing and am hoping someone at Square Enix steps up to rectify this or compensate players.

Same issue here, but no code yet for a DIGITAL copy. As Ive posted on another thread like this one, "support" has been rude and unhelpful, so the next step is BBC Watchdog or some sort of Trading Standards.
