Do you see any information about a version update date on the front page of the lodestone? Do you see any information about a version update date on any of the recent dev trackers? Why would you think anyone else would know anything more if that information wasn't where I just said it was?

It is either coming this week (doubtful since we haven't heard anything yet), or it is coming next week which would make it by the end of September, or it is delayed til October.

Wasn't mean at all. He/she asked a question no one would have the answer to. I wasn't rude or insulted them in any way. I told them where to look for the info they were seeking.

Rude would have been saying "Actually yeah Yoshida and the dev team called me yesterday and told me the update would be next week on Wednesday, sorry I forgot to post about it."

This game and the way they announce when version updates will be has been pretty similar for a year. There will be a post about it on the front page of the lodestone a little less than a week before it happens.

Considering we havn't had a LFG since the first, that's pretty much due this week or next. So yea I'm betting next Tuesday or Thursday, since those are SE update days.

Like I said I wasn't rude and didn't insult anyone in anyway (like calling a person a jerk or a d$%^wad.)

If someone thought what I said was rude I would advise them not to go into any field involving customer service as they probably wouldn't last long.

That is, of course, until they develope a procedure to remove the A-hole part of your brain while leaving the tiny part of yours that knows how to respond like a decent human being intact.

As to the OP, your right man, Yoshi did mention in one of his posts the desire to get 1.19 out by the end of september, its not just conjecture or speculation on the fans part contrary to what many on here seem to think. The way he has sounded in his last few posts though makes it sound as if they are cramming to make sure it gets out by then. We have another week after this one so all we can do is wait and see.

In the Letter from the Producer X, yes, all those things were intended to be by the end of summer. But when detailing those things specific to 1.19 in Ltter XVI he said:

When I put together the list of changes for patch 1.19, it struck me as rather small (the vertical scrollbar in the spreadsheet was looong). But this is because it’s made up of major items outlined only in brief. The team’s working hell-for-leather to deliver this monster patch (did I mention that it’s a giant next to 1.18?) to you by the end of September.
