Accessing HW content on ps4

Greetings,

I’d like to provide an update on the current situation for some PS4 users who are unable to play Heavensward content, despite having it registered and installed.

The Development and Operations teams remain completely focused on addressing this issue and have confirmed that it could be a result of several different factors. We’re currently finalizing how to address the problem and how to test and confirm the fixes.

We’re trying to complete this as soon as possible, but it may take at least another few hours until we’re able to confirm.

Once again we’d like to apologize to users who are affected by this issue. We’ll be providing further updates as soon as we have them.

Is this affecting just players who bought the all in one ffxiv or players that bought HW expansion too?

I bought just the HW expansion and it's affecting me too. So I assume any PS4 player?

Just purchased HW disk from gamestop and I'm stuck with the "heavensward not installed/registered" issue. I've checked mogstation and I got the little circle under PS4 HW. Guess it's just a waiting game until devs fix the issue?

...this would happen on the day I take off of work to dedicate to playing HW content......

Same here with the disc based version of Heavensward. Been looking forward to playing for so long, such an anticlimax. Maybe Square will make up by doing something nice like unlocking the collectors edition for all victims :3

Im in the same boat guys. Send ticket to support and nothing yet. I reinstalled the game bt issues still there.

I'm experiencing the same thing. Really SE? This is ridiculous. How is it that going out and buying a physical copy of the game is the LEAST stable option?

I don't think I've had any major problems with it. I got the physical collector's edition, and I'm able to continue playing the content (I used the early access code), even though I registered the expansion on my profile. I did get the message where it said the contents on the disk was already installed, but I'm still playing despite this.

At the end of the day, though, it's still better than Destiny lol
