For a second there I was actually liking your posts. They made me think, but now you're cooked. It's getting less and less interesting responding to you.I prefer to be immersed in this game, period. Then by your definition. Just logging in should satiate your needs, period.
Your "preferred immersion" options prevent that.Except they don't because they offer you what you want. My Future Airship Content Ideas offer way much more than you've been willing to put to the table.
Why should I have to lower/sacrifice my level of immersion for your time's sake? Why should we have to lower/sacrifice our level of convenience when you control your level of immersion. We can't control you but we can control ourselves and we're asking that you control yourself as well. That is not asking too much.
That is like watching a basketball game with only 2 quarters because people have no time to stay and view all 4.No, it's like watching the basketball highlights the next day. Man, even your real world metaphors don't apply.
I'm supposed to cut my enjoyment to 2 quarters because you don't have time? You're supposed to actively pursue your own interests. You're being treated as an adult. We're not going to hold your hand.
Give me a break.I've given you more than that. I've given you an option for more immersion let alone the immersion you were asking for. Start providing ideas for content and show a willingness to negotiate like an adult and we'll continue.
They'll just kick them for not utilizing their anima. It's the downside to living in a society. You have to deal with others. Even XI had this sort of mentality. The elitists in this thread have offered no solutions to legitimately fix, or even address, this problem. The issue arises when they want groups. The fear is that the majority of people will always take the fast travel option when it presents itself, and will scoff at or party kick someone who would rather take the long way. In other words, once they're on borrowed time, they lose their choice to peer pressure; on their own time, they're perfectly fine.
/blushI really like how Konachibi is actually offering content to help satiate the needs of the other side. It shows a willingness to compromise, negotiate, and work together to solve an issue. Not only that but her ideas are so in depth there's no way that wouldn't increase immersion.
I have not seen this from the other side, which is the core problem I have with this whole "debate".
Always nice to know that some people appreciate the time I spend detailing ideas. Ragers usually just shout "wall of text" and stop talking... probably why I still do it.![]()
She completely answered your question. Your response was not witty, nor entertaining, and only showed that you are becoming more frustrated than you should be and resulting to snarky comments in order to demean another person so that you feel better about yourself. Kind of like your philosophy in regards to instant travel.
There is no advantage if you the option is available to you as well.Me: I think teleporting excessively is bad for the scope of the game world.
Crica: But not teleporting is so slow. How about you can just walk everywhere and I will teleport.
Me: But then you are at an advantage.
Crica: So? I wouldn't care if you are at an advantage *shifty eyes*
Everyone should have to play by the same rules. And at present, the balance of convenience and "immersion" has not been struck. Sorry. So when Chocobos and airships are implemented, they will need to restrict anima usage or else the world will continue to feel even smaller than it is.
I don't see why you don't.This game should have made everyone walk and only allowed 1 transportation per day.
Yeah, I said it.
Anyways I'm going to immerse myself in jogging. Wish there was a skip button for that.
No wait, I actually like putting the time and effort into gaining muscle and acquiring a lean physique.
I appreciate it a lot more. :P
If there was an option to get a "six-pack" fast would you not take it?
What if there are people who prefer to exercise for the enjoyment of the activity? Should we take that away?

Wark wark!
