Not much more ridiculous than some of the other pfs I've seen. Anyways, I wouldn't mind, but it would have to be handled properly. I've seen a few suggestions so based on those how's this sound for a few basic rules.

The personal parser will be visable to the player by default.
The player has the choice of whether or not his/her parse is displayed in PUGs, and the party leader will decide in PF.
The parser will display the players dps alongside the party's average as well as the avg done by others of the player's job/lvl/ilvl.
With the other players' consent their individual dps scores can be displayed alongside the average.

Unfortunately I'm a console scrub so I've never used a parser, so I can't offer any input on how the data should be broken down, but I will say this: My policy is the more data I have to work with, the better.
